![]() ![]() With the Mini I can get a 2.16ghz Core Duo, 2gb ram, 100gb 7200rpm hard drive, and an 8x dl DVD burner, plus all the integrated goodies like digital audio, a GMA950 video card, etc. ![]() Pricewise the X2 machine and the Mini are the same, about $1800. I like the idea of having a small unit on my desk and being able to run OS X on a much faster platform than my G4 Cube, but there are those drawbacks. ![]() I've been with the XP on Mac crowd since the unofficial contest to get XP to boot on Mac, but unless I a few things happen (like someone tries out Ghost successfully), I don't really want to commit to one. For my non-gaming needs, the Mini fits the bill quite nicely, but I'm not too sure about the "beta" of Boot Camp. I'm slowly porting things over, but I'm still much faster at working in Windows XP.
